I love exploring the many facets of design in my work as an artist. At its core, design should communicate something, but more than that it can educate, it can impassion, it can enlighten, it can broaden our perspectives; it can connect strangers from differing cultures, to a single idea.

What do people want most, as they interact with others? They want to connect, they want to understand, they want to elicit some response from the other person, whether it’s joy, sadness, anger, clarity, or a snort of laughter. People don’t want to merely inform. They want to communicate in a way that will be remembered. They want their message, whatever it is, to carry on beyond them into the broader world.

I’ve designed everything from professional pieces, to album covers, t-shirts, holiday cards, and socks. Why? Because it’s fun for me to find new ways to connect one person to another in a memorable way. I am a professional graphic designer, but I do this because I love it, and because it is a part of who I am. So, who are you, what do you want to say, and how can I help you say it?
